sweet peas and sewing

This weekend was pretty eventful! Ellie rolled over from her back to her belly for the first time on Friday and has done it a few times since then! We also introduced her to sweet peas. She really seemed to enjoy them. We were giving her rice cereal before, but she didn't seem to care too much for it.

My mom came up this weekend. We did some shopping, sewing and she did some picture taking. We made this baby carrier pictured below. It's called a Mei tai. You can buy them, but they are very pricey. I found this design online. You can put different materials in the middle to dress it up. We put some Velcro in it so I can change it up when I want to. I still need to get some fun materials. When I do I'll post more pictures.

My mom took some pictures for me too. We attempted to get a family picture, but NONE of them turned out good. Steven wasn't really in the mood for pictures at that time and was excited to get back to watching his football game. While he did that my mom, Ellie and I went to the park to take some mommy and baby pictures. We had a few that turned out really cute.

This family picture is pretty much how all of them turned out. One person would be smiling while the other two were doing something else.
