Race

I had a good race a week and a half ago. I ran the Barber to Boise 10K with Emily and Debra. I wanted to get under 41 minutes, and under 40 would be icing on the cake. I ran it in 40:36 so I got the cake with no icing. :) I am happy with and proud of my performance. I got 34th out of 934. It was a lot of fun and I plan to do it again next year. These races are a great way for me to get motivated to exercise. Right now I feel inspired to do a few more races next year. Here is what I'm planning:
May-Famous Idaho Potato 1/2 marathon
July- Buhl 5K
September- Rim to rim
October- Barber to Boise
November- The famous Richfield Turkey Trot! (I just hope this one doesn't fill up too fast)
It is easy to make a list of all I want to do just after running a race. Even if I don't do all of these It'll at least motivate me to get out there and be active.
