Well I thought of a song in the Hymn book that I made applicable for today. "Ere you left your room this morning, did you think to vote?"

I forgot today was the day to vote, and then I realized I had no idea who was running and for what positions. I didn't want to cast my vote just to vote. I wanted it to have some meaning behind it. Next year I definetly won't make the same mistake I made this year, with the huge presidential election and everything. Well I wanted to post something, but I didn't know what to say, so this is what you got. Hey before I forget, check out the poll on the sidebar and cast your vote there. Hasta Luego.

The City of Richfield held elections today - and I just got a call with the results. The Mayor and three councilmen were re-elected. That includes me! I'm officially on the city council for another two years.

Congrats on the re-election! I'm sure you were running against some stiff competition. So are you going to stay on the city council for the full two years? I bet they're sure glad that your on their, and if they're not, then they should be.
I have to sadly say that I didn't vote. I was even thinking about doing it and than totally spaced it until on the news they started talking about it. I'll do better next time also.
I voted! Yes, Alex and I remembered. We had to support mom! Just remember to vote next year-we don't want osama or hilliary invading our lives! happy day it's stake conference weekend!
